According to Murray-Bruce, the incident occurred during a dinner organized for legislators at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, was on Monday, May 30, 2016, blocked from greeting President Muhammadu Buhari by an official of the Department of State Services (DSS).
“I was at the presidential villa today. Went to the President’s table. DSS would not allow me greet him but let another Senator greet him,” Murray-Bruce said via Facebook.
“I have nothing against the President, however, nobody is too important to be criticised and my mouth will never be silenced,” he added.
